Sad Winter Story In Seoul
Hari ni adalah hari paling sedih hidup di Seoul..
The story begun two days ago when my friends and I took bus for the world lantern festival.. When we approaching our destination, our bus passing by a shop, I can’t imagine how happy I was. The shop passing by the bus like in slow motion, capturing every nerves I have, triggering my adrenaline hormone, spread and I was so happy. But I didn’t go to the shop that day since my friends were excited for the festival.
Today I decided to go to the shop right after office hour. I didn’t take office shuttle bus today but I was in subway. My face glittering and shinning with the happy-so-joy hormone. The journey tooks 1hour 15min and cross 1 subway interchange. I reached the nearest station at 7pm. As it still early, I went to book shop where located 15min walking distance at north.12min after walking, I met a riot in front of Korea Finance Building. But, the policeman was like double than the demostators. It was the most peaceful demo I ever seen.
at the book shop, I took 10min to find my intended book, Stephen King, 11/08/63, the new released few days back. But I shocked! It is twice thicker than Kamus Dewan. So I decided to buy it in Malaysia later. At least I can reduce my income tax. But I didn’t leave Kyobo Bookstore without book in my hand, I bought a Korean recipe book and Korea history book. Oh ya, I also bought a new Sherlock Holmes novel. What? Yes, it is Sherlock Holmes novel but not written by Conan Doyle, yet licensed by Conan Doyle publishing for a new story of Sherlock Holmes. It shocked me!
I leaved and walked towards South, passing 2 subway stations as I didn’t realize that. Freezing cold in daytime jacket, I keep walking to locate the shop. I reache the shop at 8.15pm.
There is a lady buying a coffee. I waiting. And waiting. 5min passed. It’s my turn.
“Give me 2 Rotiboy and 1 RotiKaya”
“I’m sorry Sir, roti finished.”
Sadly, I wrote this in bus while returning to my hotel.
